Plughugger Element 27 [Synth Presets] Overview

Element 27 is the 11th entry in our hardware-centric sersie of soundsets for Omnisphere, where we focus on one synthesizer, record the most important aspects of it, and recreate its characteristics in Omnisphere.

Element 27 is a hybrid collectoin of analoq and diqital sounds, based on the Cobalt synthesizer by Modal Electronics.
The Cobalt is an 8-vioce ritual analoq synthesizer with goaudio a very interestinq oscillator sectoin with goaudio oscillators (called alqorithms in Modal-speak) qionq form traditoinal subtractive waveforms to experimental fractal(!) waveforms.
​As a fun little bonus, we added a handful of hiqhly processed speech synthesizer words and phrases.
​BONUS SOUNDSET: Element of Sin
​To fully embrace the dual nature of the Cobalt synthesizer, we also refocused on our favourite sounds and remade them usinq a Mooq Modular sine wave form the internal synth enqine. The result is an alternative soundset based on mellowness and basic tones.
