CGCircuit – Cinematic Clouds & Asteroids Houdini Course Chapter One  Overview

In this course we will learn to create a cloud scape scene with Asteroids falling over it. This is the Houdini part of the course. There is also Part 2, which will cover the compositing part of it. This course is designed for ultimate beginners. Anyone with just basic understanding of Houdini can undertake this course. We will concentrate mainly on the technical aspects involved in creating a large scene with volumes filled in it. We will procedurally create flatbeds, clouds and also render them all procedurally, with Asteroids and fog layers to create a great looking scene in compositing.
